Salary: €60,000 – €70,000

Overview

An established organisation operating in a high-impact, real-time environment is seeking a Mid to Senior .NET Developer to join its growing technology team in Cork.

This role is ideal for someone who has worked in operationally critical systems, where reliability, accuracy, and performance are essential. The successful candidate will play a key role in developing and supporting systems where issues can have direct financial or real-world impact.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain applications using .NET / C#
• Support and enhance business-critical systems in a live production environment
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust solutions
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in time-sensitive operational systems
• Contribute to continuous improvement of system performance, scalability, and reliability

Mandatory Requirements

• Strong experience with .NET / C# development
• Proven background in operational support environments, such as:
  • Financial systems
  • Healthcare systems
  • Trading platforms
  • High-availability enterprise systems

👉 You must have experience working in environments where:

• Errors could result in financial loss, or
• Systems directly impact users, customers, or real-world outcomes

Desirable Skills

• Experience with Angular (frontend development)
• Exposure to cloud platforms (preferably Microsoft Azure)
• Understanding of distributed systems or high-availability architectures
• Experience working in agile teams

Location & Working Model

• Cork-based role
• Hybrid working (mix of onsite and remote)
